The value of diversity in a student body or work team is well known but, lacking a clear roadmap, still widely underutilized. A Global Career helps students and employees prepare for the new global reality by understanding different styles of communication, decision making, relationship orientation, sense of time and hierarchy, for optimal academic and business experiences, at home and abroad.

While only a small percentage of employees will work abroad in their lifetimes, a growing number will work with colleagues from another culture—and the diversity of employees from outside the U.S. will only increase. Workers will not only need the skills to understand their colleagues, but the ability to leverage diversity and create successful cross-cultural experiences.
