AGlobalCareer founder and cross-cultural business consultant, Duane Lefevre, has years of experience teaching college students and training professionals to work with and manage employees from cultures other than their own. He has worked in Asia, Europe and North America, and has particular expertise with India and China. Over the past decade, Lefevre has identified a major gap in the cultural training provided by many business schools and multinational firms. AGlobalCareer is helping to fill that gap.
Lefevre earned his undergraduate degree in marketing from Bryant University and an MBA from Boston University’s School of Management. He served in executive-level positions for national and international firms, including Bozell Worldwide (Taco Bell), Carvel, and Dancing Deer Baking Company.
From 2005–2007, Lefevre was a senior faculty member at WLC College, a private institution with the largest post-graduate management program in India.
There, he achieved top-professor ranking in Bangalore and introduced American-style teaching to ten campuses. Subsequently he has taught marketing and business principles at Boston University’s School of Management and Northeastern University.
Lefevre continues to be a popular a guest lecturer at colleges and universities, and a faculty leader in study abroad programs. He will be teaching marketing and cross-cultural courses in South Africa and India with Northeastern University later this year.
An independent consultant since 2005, Lefevre represents several leading cross-cultural consulting firms. He is an experienced and highly rated speaker and trainer.
